The way "Echoes On A Windswept Plain" starts is a freezing, deep & enveloping example of Atmospheric BM done right. This guitar wall of sound, emphasized by a profound bass, by desperate distant screams, by synth soundscapes that become constantly more melancholic & atmospherically intense, represents a vivd way to translate in music the sensation your skin feels when it is crossed by icy winds & your spirit by introspective thoughts.

Everything on "Echoes On A Windswept Plain" is delivered thru slow paces & contemplative moods, passing by evocative grooves, driven by repetitive yet solemn riffs & pulsating bass, to ambiental & ethereal sections, driven by synths grandeur & "vocoderized" clean vocals.
